Pack 4 Cub Scouts
We’re a family-focused Cub Scout pack in Dripping Springs, helping kids grow through fun, outdoor adventures, and meaningful service. We (usually) meet on the second Sunday of the month at the Highpointe Amenity Center from September to May. A wide variety of summer activities are offered for those families who wish to make a yearlong commitment to scouting.

Meet Our Committee

Dan Prorok, Cubmaster / WeBeLo Den Leader
Dan’s Scouting leadership started after building his first Pinewood Derby car with his son, Cas. He strives to cultivate an environment where parents and their children can create character-building memories together that provide a solid foundation for lifetime success. When not scouting, Dan can likely be found leading a global IT team at Hewlett Packard Enterprise or performing with the Hill Country Community Band.

Jason Medlock, Chartered Organization Representative
Jason is our liaison between Pack 4 and our Chartered Organization, the American Legion Post 290. While not usually present at meetings, he is a quick e-mail away. Jason has accumulated almost 1000 flying hours as part of the US Coast Guard, is a certified Harley Davidson technician (just for fun!), and the head of celebrity security for THREE central TX comic cons!

Jaya Purswani, Committee Chair / WeBeLo Den Leader
Jaya has been part of Pack 4 since 2021, starting as a lion den guide for her son. Jaya had held many committee roles during her time with the pack but her favorite role has been that of den leader, watching her scouts grow and learn new skills and confidence. When not active in scouting, Jaya can be found driving (she averages about 5 hours per weekday) and enjoys hiking, reading, baking, and knitting (oh and Taylor Swift!)

Anthony Chambliss, Assistant Cubmaster
Anthony has been part of Pack 4 since 2020. He recently retired as den leader of our Arrow of Light den. When not helping out Pack 4 or his older son’s troop, he can be found taking pictures, studying architecture, drawing, reading a book, or spending time on his family ranch. Anthony has been to magic camp (someone should ask him to a do a magic trick!)

Chelsea Nazaretian, Assistant Cubmaster / Wolf Den Leader
Chelsea started her Pack 4 tenure as a lion den leader. Since then, she’s become the Assistant Cubmaster of activities and can often be found crafting new and intriguing ideas for our pack meetings. Chelsea enjoys building Legos, hiking, and biking in her spare time.

Amanda McCreight, Committee Treasurer
Amanda is in charge of maintaining the financial records for the Pack. Outside of scouting, Amanda enjoys gardening, reading, puzzles, traveling, and cooking! Amanda has also lived in China.

Christina Henson, Committee Secretary
Christina maintains our meeting minutes. Outside of scouting, Christina enjoys baking, cooking (and negotiating with picky eaters), reading fantasy books, hiking, and spending time outdoors.

Devin Naquin, Bear Den Leader
Devin is our bear den leader, managing our third grade scouts. He enjoys spending time outside in nature, and has hiked rim to rim to rim of the Grand Canyon.

Adam LeFave, Bear Assistant Den Leader
Adam is our assistant bear den leader.

Ryan Nazaretian, Pinewood Derby / Rocket Man / Wolf Den Leader
Ryan is part of our PWD & rocket teams, and serves as a den leader for our wolf den. When not active in scouting, he can be found coaching robotics, tinkering, and biking.

Jeff Bergman, Committee Member
Jeff is part of our Pack 4 committee. Jeff is an Eagle Scout and enjoys cooking, woodworking, home improvement and making his home smart in his free time.

Peter Cox, Pinewood Derby / Rocket Man
Peter is part of our PWD & Rocket teams. When not actively trying to blow stuff up, he can be found fishing, collecting coins, watching F1, or coaching DSYSA soccer.

Zach Horn, New Member Coordinator
Zach serves as the point of contact between Pack 4 and prospective families, providing information and helping onboard them to our Pack 4 family. Zach is a self proclaimed “lawn nerd”, mowing his lawn three times a week.

Amanda Knittel, Evergreen Queen
Amanda is in charge of our fall fundraising efforts, currently in the form of holiday wreaths and greenery. When not active in scouts, Mandy enjoys growing succulents, cooking, and refinishing furniture.

Wendel Leibe, Committee Member
Wendel is part of our Pack 4 committee. He has four boys and was the previous cubmaster of P280. When not scouting, Wendel enjoys biking (he’s done the MS150 4 times!) and spending time in nature!

Jorge Rodriguez, Advancement Chair
Jorge is in charge of procuring, cataloging, and distributing the advancements earned by our Cub Scouts. Jorge has played soccer in Europe, jumped out of a (working) airplane, and has raced cars in his past. When not scouting, Jorge enjoys running and working out.

Chas Semple, Pack to Troop Liaison
Chas is our pack to troop liaison, serving as a point of contact between Pack 4 and the various troops in Dripping Springs. When not scouting (he has three boys at the troop level), he enjoys cooking, traveling with family, and is “100% a bird nerd”. Chas also enjoys long walks on the beach.

Rachel Wilson, Hiking Coordinator
Rachel is part of our Pack 4 committee and coordinates our Pack hikes. Rachel has previously been our cubmaster and an assistant cubmaster of outdoor activities. When not actively scouting, she enjoys running (including marathons), skiing, and hiking. In 2025, she ran like the wind for a total of 2,200 miles!
